Corinne Schneider investigates scientific hypotheses by way of imaging techniques. Her artistic work extends from painting into photography and sculpture. Sometimes she pursues the line of thought of a theory, while at other times she dispenses with the image altogether, honing in instead on the application of the theory in everyday life. Often in her work, photographic and painterly modes of inquiry overlap. Her themes include: natural structures, light, water, nature's power and tranquillity, energy, and evolution.
